Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is hiring a Logistics Team Leader for the Desford site in the United Kingdom. You will lead an AM shift, drive health and safety, productivity and continuous improvement on the production line and logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AM shift team to achieve daily targets while monitoring Health and Safety, People, Quality, Velocity and Cost metrics.
• Champion safe working practices and organise training and development of team members.
• Drive continuous improvement ideas and maintain the skills matrix for 100% versatility.
• Engage in rapid improvement workshops to enhance safety, quality, velocity and cost.
