Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting an Alternative Provision Teaching Assistant to support students with challenging behaviour in Wakefield. The role can be long-term or short-term, on-site, and requires commitment to creating a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour.
• Experience working within an Alternative Provision, PRU or similar setting is desirable
• Strong behaviour management skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with young people
• A resilient, patient and adaptable approach
• A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to get stuck in
