Supply Hive Wales is seeking patient, encouraging people to support secondary learners with additional learning needs in schools across Cardiff. You will help implement targets from learners' IDPs, support communication and emotional needs, and work closely with teachers and the ALNCo in a supportive team environment.

Experience supporting young people with ALN or SEN in school, care, youth work or at home is valuable. DBS updates are preferred, and a dedicated ALN consultant will support you.

• Experience supporting learners with ALN or SEN in school, care, youth work or home.
• Patient, observant and adaptable to individual learners' needs.

• Implement targets from learners' IDPs in daily activities.
• Assist with communication, sensory and emotional needs using calm routines.
• Work closely with teachers, ALNCo and support teams.

• Supporting communication, sensory and emotional needs with calm, consistent routines

• Working closely with teachers, the ALNCo and the wider support team

  Experience supporting young people with ALN or SEN - in school, care, youth work or at home

• No TA qualification needed - we'll chat through your experience and suitability before you register
• Patient, observant and comfortable adapting your approach for each learner

• Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service
