Job summary

New Directions Education Ltd is seeking a compassionate ALN Teaching Assistant to support children with additional learning needs across a range of Newtown area schools. You will work on supply, in classrooms and small groups, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.

You will collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored support, contribute to pupils' academic, social and emotional development, and help implement IEPs where required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with ALN is preferred.
• Ability to implement Individual Education Programmes (IEP) where applicable.
• Comfortable working in a range of schools and adapting to different classroom needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with ALN in classrooms and small groups
