Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking compassionate Teaching Assistants to support learners with PMLD in a highly specialist school setting in Swansea. The positions offer competitive weekly pay and flexible supply placements, with free specialist training and CPD.

Ideal candidates will have experience in PMLD or complex needs, SEN/ALN settings, and personal care where required, with a focus on safeguarding and inclusive education. Training and ongoing consultant support are provided.

Competenze

• This role supports learners with PMLD or complex needs in a specialist school setting.
• Experience in SEN/ALN settings is advantageous for this position.
• Prior care, residential, or healthcare assistant experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of personal care and manual handling is helpful.

Important Information

These positions are offered through Teaching Personnel on a supply basis. Whilst work cannot be guaranteed, supply provides excellent flexibility and can often lead to long‑term placements for successful candidates.

This role would particularly suit candidates considering careers in Special Education, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, or Educational Support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
