Job summary

Tata Technologies Ltd. is seeking an ALM Cloud Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud-based ALM solutions for automotive programs from Warwick, UK. You will drive end-to-end architecture, integration, and governance across cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, mentor teams, and guide proposals and migrations while adhering to enterprise standards and security policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading end-to-end ALM cloud solution design and implementation.
• Proficient with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and ALM tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, systems engineering, and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of cloud-based ALM solutions for automotive programs.
• Define end-to-end solution architecture covering requirements management, systems engineering, software development, testing, release management, and traceability.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and guide engineering teams.
• Provide technical leadership across project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Design and implement integrations between ALM platforms and enterprise apps (PLM, ERP, DevOps).
• Develop cloud migration strategies and roadmaps for existing ALM environments.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, governance, and performance requirements.
• Conduct architecture reviews, assessments, and solution validations.
• Support bid activities, solution estimations, and technical proposals for new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, systems engineers, DevOps, and analysts.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to ALM ecosystems.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to project teams and solution consultants.

As part of our Digital Enterprise Solutions (DES) team, the ALM Cloud Solution Architect will play a key role in driving the design, architecture, and implementation of cloud-based Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions within the automotive domain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining end-to-end solution architectures, guiding technical teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and integrated ALM ecosystems. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and project delivery teams to transform business requirements into robust technical solutions aligned with enterprise and cloud architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of cloud-based ALM solutions for automotive and engineering programs.
• Define end-to-end solution architecture covering requirements management, systems engineering, software development, testing, release management, and traceability.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.

• Strong experience in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) platforms and processes.
• Expertise in cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with ALM tools such as: Jira Azure DevOps Codebeamer Polarion Jama IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with API-based integrations, microservices, and enterprise application integration.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), systems engineering, and requirements management.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, security, governance, and infrastructure best practices.
• Familiarity with automotive standards and compliance frameworks such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, and Functional Safety.
