Job summary

Ferrovial BAM Joint Venture is recruiting an Alliance Configuration Management Engineer for the HS2 Track infrastructure project. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and assuring the configuration management framework across the Rail Systems Alliance, ensuring alignment between design documentation, BIM models, and physical assets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of configuration management principles (ISO 10007).
• Experience on large infrastructure or rail projects.
• Knowledge of BIM and ISO 19650.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the alliance configuration identification across items (tracks, materials and components).
• Develop and implement common change control methods and governance across the alliance.
• Oversee configuration status accounting with auditable records and revision histories.
• Support audits and quality reviews to ensure configurations comply with HS2 standards.
