The CPC Foods Group is an integrated food manufacturer offering a full farm to fork solution to our customers. We are a well-respected family business and producer of a range of protein products, including bacon, gammon, sausages and ready meals, as well as a wide range of added value products. We supply into major multiples, discounters, convenience retailers and the foodservice.

About the Role

This brand new role is all about account management and development. Supporting our Senior National Account Manager, you will utilise your natural curiosity and commercial acumen to help deliver solutions to our Aldi account.

You will have access to retailer and customer insight data to determine opportunities that will increase sales. You will be proactive in your approach and look at what all retailers are doing across their categories, taking a keen interest in the market data and trends to create real propositions that will add value to the customer and the end consumers. In this role you will also be responsible for all day-to-day administration and interaction with Aldi’s buying and supply chain teams.

Our Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone with a passion for food and, ideally, experience in managing/supporting the commercial relationship with a food retailer or foodservice business. You will be able to work with the customer to create solutions which will add value to them and their category performance.

You will be proactive in your approach and will always have one eye on what all retailers are doing and what the latest trends are. Critically, you will have the commercial acumen and approach to use this knowledge and insight to identify and land opportunities that deliver commercial results. You will be comfortable communicating with customers to ensure no commercial opportunities are missed.

You will need to have a great can-do attitude, be a real team player, be willing to get hands on wherever required and want to learn as much as possible to progress yourself. You will need strong administration and numerical skills. Working with and presenting data will be a daily task in this role, so intermediate Excel skills are essential.

This is a site-based role with occasional customer and CPC site visits, so a driving licence will be required.
