Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking a hands-on Data Analyst to join a major investment platform transformation programme. You will analyse, document and validate data mappings between legacy systems and Aladdin, working with business users, data teams and technology teams to understand usage and requirements.

You will trace data lineage, document definitions and transformations, support testing, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Approximately 5 years' experience in a Data Analyst, Data Migration Analyst or similar role.
Strong SQL skills, including the ability to analyse, reconcile and investigate complex datasets.
Experience documenting source-to-target mappings and data transformation requirements.

Responsibilities

Analyse data structures, attributes and relationships across investment, risk and operational systems.
Document source-to-target mappings from legacy platforms into Aladdin and target-state solutions.
Validate mapping outputs through data analysis and reconciliation activities.
Support business and user acceptance testing by helping define test scenarios, reviewing results and investigating issues.
Document data definitions, business rules, transformations and exceptions.
Produce clear and accurate documentation for delivery and support teams.
