Job summary

Arcus Search in London is seeking experienced BlackRock Aladdin Consultants to support wealth and asset management transformation programmes, delivering Aladdin implementations, upgrades, integrations and migrations on complex enterprise platforms.

You will collaborate with business, operations and technology teams, gather requirements, support data migration and testing, and identify AI-enabled delivery improvements across platforms.

Qualifications

Job description

Duration: 6 months initially (long-term contract)

Overview

We are looking for experienced BlackRock Aladdin Consultants to support a range of Wealth & Asset Management transformation programmes. You will help leading asset managers, wealth managers and financial institutions deliver strategic platform change, working across front, middle and back-office functions.

The role will focus on delivering Aladdin implementations, upgrades, integrations, migrations and optimisation programmes, partnering with business, operations and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle. Experience with platforms such as Charles River, SimCorp, Avaloq, Temenos or FNZ is beneficial, although strong Aladdin expertise is the primary requirement.

Responsibilities & Experience

• Deliver BlackRock Aladdin implementations, upgrades, integrations, migrations and optimisation programmes.
• Work with investment, operations and technology teams to enhance Aladdin workflows, operating models and platform capabilities.
• Gather, analyse and document business, functional and technical requirements across Aladdin modules.
• Support data migration, system integration, testing and deployment activities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and project leadership to ensure successful delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery through automation and AI-enabled tools.

You should have proven experience delivering Aladdin transformation programmes and a strong understanding of one or more of the following areas:

• Trading
• Investment Operations
• Compliance
• Investment Accounting

You will also have experience working on large-scale transformation programmes within Asset Management or Wealth Management, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and familiarity with modern delivery approaches and AI-enabled tools.

• Experience with Aladdin Enterprise, Aladdin Wealth, Aladdin Accounting and/or Aladdin Data Cloud.
• Knowledge of OMS, IBOR/ABOR, portfolio management, investment operations, performance measurement or risk analytics.
• Experience integrating Aladdin with Charles River, SimCorp, Avaloq, Temenos, FNZ or other enterprise data platforms.
• Technical experience with SQL, APIs, Python, cloud platforms or data engineering.
• Experience supporting AI-enabled transformation initiatives, including Generative AI or Agentic AI.

Candidate Profile

We're looking for experienced consultants with a strong track record of delivering Aladdin-focused transformation programmes within investment management environments. You'll be comfortable engaging senior business and technology stakeholders, balancing strategic advisory with hands‑on delivery, and working effectively across complex enterprise change programmes.
