Job summary

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above (or acceptable equivalents) and pass CBAT to continue.
• Meet Nationality and Residency criteria; health and fitness criteria; pass a fitness test.
• Commit to a minimum of 3 years post Phase 2 Specialist Training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air traffic to and from military airfields.
• Order Typhoon jets to scramble and intercept suspect aircraft.
• Control fighter, surveillance, refuelling and unmanned aircraft on missions.
• Work with civilian controllers as Area Radar Controller to ensure safe operation.
• Provide battlespace management support for UK and international missions.
• Travel on military operations as a Tactical Air Traffic Controller.

Education

GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above

64 UCAS points or UK Degree (2:2 or higher)
