Job summary

Swissport-8ea42602 at Humberside Airport is seeking a proactive Airside Ramp Agent to support loading, unloading and aircraft servicing. You will marshal aircraft, operate ground equipment, and maintain strict safety and security standards in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires flexibility for weekends and holidays; 16 hours per week with pay at £12.91 per hour. Full training provided with progression opportunities and employee discounts across travel and retail products.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass background checks.
• Experience in a ground handling/airside role is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load/unload baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft.
• Marshal aircraft to gates with safe positioning.
• Operate ground service equipment safely and responsibly.
• Perform cabin cleaning, lavatory servicing and water replenishment as needed.
• Follow all safety and security procedures and signaling guides.
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers and partners.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Airside Ramp Agents. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft, passengers, and cargo.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft.
• Marshal aircraft to and from gates, ensuring safe and precise positioning.
• Operate ground service equipment, such as tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts, in a safe and responsible manner.
• Perform aircraft servicing tasks, including cabin cleaning, lavatory servicing, and water replenishment.
• Adhere to all safety and security procedures, including aircraft marshalling signals and hazardous material handling guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service to passengers and airline partners.

Qualifications
