Job summary

Swissport at Humberside Airport is seeking Airside Ramp Agents to join a small, dedicated team. The role involves safely loading/unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling aircraft, and operating ground service equipment while maintaining high safety standards.

Hours are 16 hours per week, including weekends and public holidays, with a pay rate of £12.91 per hour. Training and development opportunities are provided within a supportive aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft.
• Marshal aircraft to gates and position safely.
• Operate ground service equipment safely.
• Perform aircraft servicing tasks including cabin cleaning and water replenishment.
• Follow safety and security procedures including hazardous materials handling.
• Provide excellent service to passengers and airline partners.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Airside Ramp Agents. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft, passengers, and cargo.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft.
• Marshal aircraft to and from gates, ensuring safe and precise positioning.
• Operate ground service equipment, such as tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts, in a safe and responsible manner.
• Perform aircraft servicing tasks, including cabin cleaning, lavatory servicing, and water replenishment.
• Adhere to all safety and security procedures, including aircraft marshalling signals and hazardous material handling guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service to passengers and airline partners.

Qualifications
