Job summary

MAG (Airports Group) seeks an Airside Assurance Manager to oversee airside standards at Stansted Airport. You will review safety incidents, monthly data, and investigation reports to identify trends and plan actions. Engage airside stakeholders to foster a just safety culture and support initiatives to cut accidents.

The role includes audits/inspections, ensuring standards, and on-call duties with extra winter pay. UK-based candidates with CAA familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong, working experience in aviation airside operations and aviation compliance.
  • Confident understanding of CAA regulations and their application to airside standards.
  • Knowledge of airside driving regulations and hands-on expertise in GSE operations and ground handling activities across a variety of aircraft types.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications.

Job description

Overview As an Airside Assurance Manager you will be responsible for maintaining oversight of airside standards at Stansted Airport. Your role involves reviewing aerodrome safety incidents, monthly occurrence data, and investigation reports to identify safety trends and determine effective action plans. You will promote a just safety culture through active engagement with airside stakeholders, support initiatives to reduce operational accidents and incidents, and assist the Airside Safety Compliance Manager with audits and inspections. The position requires you to be on call during winter months and will include additional pay for these months.
