Job summary

Warehousingsolutions is seeking Airport Cleaning Operatives at Manchester Airport to join a busy terminal services team. You will help ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for passengers in a fast-paced 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities include terminal maintenance, washroom hygiene, waste management, and the use of specialist cleaning equipment. Good English, reliability, and flexibility are essential for various shifts. Training and uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

Must be reliable and able to commute to the airport for early starts or late finishes.
Good spoken English to communicate with team members and passengers.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning tasks.
Flexible to work full-time or part-time shifts.

Responsibilities

Terminal Maintenance: Clean and maintain high-traffic areas like departure lounges, check-in desks, and arrival halls.
Washroom Hygiene: Clean, disinfect, and restock restrooms across shifts.
Waste Management: Empty bins, recycle, and keep floors free of litter and spillages.
Specialist Cleaning: Operate floor buffers and vacuum cleaners (training provided).
Security Awareness: Report unattended baggage or suspicious activity to Airport Security.
Customer Service: Provide friendly assistance to passengers with directions or facilities.
