Job summary

Consultora Excelsior seeks multiple full-time security officers to start at Belfast Airport. Shifts include day, night, and weekends with a weekly pay cycle. 45–60 hours per week guaranteed, with high bonuses and permanent role opportunities.

Roles offer day shifts from 8 am to 6 pm (or 8 pm) and night shifts from 8 pm to 8 am; weekend bonuses apply. Responsibilities include patrolling, surveillance monitoring, access control, incident response, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Observational skills to notice potential threats or suspicious behaviour.
• Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, for reporting and interacting with others.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions.
• Ability to de-escalate tense situations and find peaceful solutions.
• Familiarity with security equipment, surveillance systems, and basic computer applications.
• Ability to patrol, stand for extended periods, and potentially handle physical situations.
• Maintaining a calm, courteous, and reassuring presence.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and securing: Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points to ensure they are secure and free from hazards.
• Monitoring surveillance systems: Observing CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify and respond to potential threats or unusual activity.
• Controlling access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.
• Responding to incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.
• Enforcing regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.
• Reporting and documentation: Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and communicating any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
