Job summary

Consultora Excelsior is seeking full-time security officers for Heathrow Airport with day, night and weekend shifts. The positions are permanent, with 45–60 hours per week and weekly pay. Hourly rates are £19.50 (days), £22.50 (nights), and £25.50 (weekends).

Applicants will patrol, monitor CCTV, control access, respond to incidents and enforce regulations, with bonuses and stable roles offered. Training and compliance are required for all candidates.

Qualifications

• Observational skills to notice threats or suspicious behaviour.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication for reporting.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions.
• Ability to de-escalate tense situations and resolve conflicts peacefully.
• Familiarity with security equipment, CCTV systems, and basic computer use.
• Physical stamina to patrol and stand for long periods.
• Maintain a calm, courteous, and reassuring presence on shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and securing buildings, perimeters and access points.
• Monitoring CCTV and security systems to identify threats or unusual activity.
• Checking IDs, logging entries and controlling access to restricted areas.
• Investigating alarms, responding to incidents and taking appropriate action.
• Enforcing security policies and resolving disturbances.
• Maintaining logs and writing incident reports.
