Job summary

London Gatwick Market Research is hiring a part-time Field Interviewer to gather passenger opinions and experiences both landside and airside. You will conduct tablet interviews across the airport, plan as per quotas, and work within a friendly team.

The role is on-site with shifts between 05:00 and 23:00, 3–7 hour blocks, with a roster released a year in advance. Strong English communication, autonomous work capability, and customer-service orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in market research or public surveys is desirable.
• Ability to survey the public and collect data accurately.
• Customer-facing experience in a similar environment is advantageous.
• Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet performance targets.
• Comfort navigating airport environments and survey processes.
• IT skills including MS Office and survey software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-airport face-to-face interviews on tablets with structured questionnaires.
• Plan daily activities based on quotas and flight demand.
• Interview in line with Market Research Society Code of Conduct.
• Record quotas and update spreadsheets on Microsoft Teams.
• Attend quarterly team meetings to support the wider team.
• Represent London Gatwick Airport professionally as an ambassador.
