Job summary

London Gatwick Airport is seeking a Market Researcher - Field Interviewer to conduct on-site, face-to-face interviews across landside and airside areas using tablets with pre-loaded surveys. You will manage quotas, work to flight demands, and follow the Market Research Society's Code of Conduct.

The role is part-time, 20 hours weekly, with shifts between 0500 and 2300. Ideal candidates have market research or customer-facing experience, autonomy, and strong English language skills.

Qualifications

• Previous Market Research experience desirable.
• Experience of surveying the public and data collection.
• Customer facing experience in a similar environment advantageous
• Airport knowledge would be an advantage
• Must be able to read, understand and speak English fluently
• Experience of working autonomously and without supervision
• Able to pick up processes navigating airport environment and survey processes
• Experience delivering on performance targets
• Customer service experience to assist airport users
• Bi-Lingual desirable but not essential
• IT skills including MS Office and survey software on tablets (Qualtrics advantageous)
• Demonstratable resilience in a Marketing Research/target-based role
• Attention to detail and accuracy in capturing qualitative data
• Must be able to get into London Gatwick to start/finish work for 0500–2300

Responsibilities

• On-airport face-to-face interviews on tablets using structured questionnaires across airport areas.
• Plan daily activities responding to quotas and flight demands.
• Interviewing in line with Market Research Society's Code of Conduct.
• Record quotas and update spreadsheets on Microsoft Teams.
• Attend quarterly team meetings to support wider team success.
• Act as ambassadors for London Gatwick Airport with positive, professional interviews.
