Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is seeking a Class 2 driver for a delivery role to airport lounges. The position runs Monday to Friday with starts between 7:00am and 8:30am, 12-week temp-to-perm and will involve loading using a driver’s mate and security checks.

Applicants should have a Full UK Cat C licence, CPC and Digi Tacho, and be comfortable with manual handling. 0 points on licence and 5 years of continuous work are required, with own transport preferred.

Qualifications

• Full UK Cat C driving licence.
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
• Class 2 experience preferred; newly qualified drivers welcome.
• 0 points or endorsements on licence.
• 5 years of continuous work in previous employment.
• Own transport to commute to and from work.
• Great time keeping and communication skills.
• Happy with manual handling and heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries of drinks and snacks to airport lounges.
• Goods will be on cages; loading and unloading assisted by driver and mate.
• Work Monday to Friday with start times around 7:00am to 8:30am.
• Required to undergo security checks due to delivery locations.
