Job summary

Sodexo Live! in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated lounge catering assistant to manage food and beverage presentation, ensure quality checks, and maintain display standards across the lounge.

The role requires kitchen/chef experience, strong motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to work on your own initiative within a team. Shifts are 4 days on, 2 off, at £16 per hour, 37.2 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Present all food and beverage, monitor quality, quantity, and display per specification.
• Maintain stock levels and follow Emirates ratio guidelines; ensure hygiene per HACCP.
• Provide training to staff on food presentation.
• Interact with lounge customers for feedback and report issues to Sodexo Live! and Emirates staff.
• Coordinate with Sodexo Live! and Emirates Lounge to resolve irregularities.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the presentation of all food and beverage, ensuring quality, quantity are consistently monitored, maintained and display is as per set specification.
• Where possible follow food ratio guidelines set out by Emirates are followed. Ensure buffet and stock levels of all food and beverage items are properly maintained and replenished regularly as required and in accordance with food and safety standards. Control and monitor hygiene standards as per HACCAP.
• Provide training and guidance to service staff on the presentation and display of food
• Interact with Lounge customers to gain feedback on service and product. Communicate finding to Lounge Supervisor / Lounge Manager / Emirates staff in a timely manner. Liaise with Sodexo and Emirates Lounge team for any irregularities and other important information that impact the lounge operations. Communicate product, service and customer issues to Sodexo and Emirates staff, so that corrective action can be taken in a timely manner.
