Job summary

ARE Ltd, a family-run UK business operating food and beverage outlets at airports, is seeking a committed and enthusiastic kitchen team member. You’ll assist in all areas of food preparation and service, and work with the front‑of‑house team to deliver excellent customer service.

This hourly role may involve early starts or late finishes, with no requirement for split shifts. You will help ensure quality and presentation, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety and hygiene protocols to support

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, food preparation, and service experience (airport setting helpful but not essential).
• Ability to identify and address health, safety, and hygiene concerns, escalating where necessary.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with team members.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to manage stock, reducing waste, and maximising revenue.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all areas of food preparation and service.
