We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Airline Security Officer to join our team at the EMA Hub in Derbyshire. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing security protocols to ensure compliance with national and international aviation security regulations. You will collaborate with DHL Security colleagues, industry stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement to enhance security measures and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining the Security Management System in line with international standards
• Managing security policies and procedures for various international programs
• Ensuring compliance with UK/EU cargo security regimes
• Investigating security incidents and implementing corrective actions
• Serving as Cyber Security Responsible Manager, analyzing IT vulnerabilities and improving practices
• Engaging with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders on security regulation changes
• Addressing regulatory shortfalls and recommending compliance strategies
• Managing foreign Operator approvals as required
• Producing and maintaining Security Risk Assessments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or a related field
• Ability to achieve CTC clearance or higher
• At least 3 years of experience in an aviation security role, preferably within an airline environment
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
