Job summary

Gate Gourmet in the United Kingdom is seeking motivated operatives to support our airline catering operations. You will help with loading and unloading catering materials, ensuring secure and timely handling in line with flight schedules and safety rules.

You will perform pre-trip truck checks, assist with driving a high-loader catering vehicle, and coordinate with the Transport Dispatcher on any issues related to materials or delays. A proactive, safety‑conscious approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Completes gathering and fault-free timely load/off-load of catering material, ensuring load security.
• Performs pre-trip truck checks, ensures cleanliness and handles driving of high-loader catering vehicle.
• Loads/unloads aircraft according to flight schedules, loading lists and galley stowages with safety and customer requirements.
• Liaises with the Transport Dispatcher in case of injuries, material shortfalls, or other irregular operations.
• Complies with Materials/Security/Country/Safety/SQOR/Company Rules and Procedures.
