Job Description

We are looking for an Airfreight Export Operator for our client located around the Heathrow area.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 0900-1730.

Please only apply if you meet the following criteria:

• Ideally 5+ Years Experience in the industry.
• CDS Export Experience - Full Capability.
• No more than 2 jobs in the last 5 years.

Duties Include:

• Complete a job from start to finish.
• Contact shippers.
• Arrange collections.
• Cut MAWB & HAWBs, demonstrating knowledge of country requirements, IATA rates & airline requirements (operator variations, Promo references, etc.).
• Negotiate with airlines for maximum margin.
• Complete Customs entries and understand more complex procedure codes (IPR, BONDED, EXPORT LICENSING, etc.).
• Provide quotations and understand market rates.
• Maintain high customer service levels, including providing agents with post-flight updates and departure advice.
• Additional qualifications: Dangerous Goods trained & Aviation Security trained up to level CO Cargo Operative.
• Ensure safety and thoroughness in all tasks.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with strong email management and response times.
• Communicate confidently and effectively with external customers, agents, and internal stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
