Job summary

Hyde Group is seeking an experienced Airframe Fitter to join our Dukinfield manufacturing facility. You will assemble metallic structures and read engineering drawings to ensure aerospace quality standards.

We offer a 4-day compressed week option (7:00am–4:30pm, Mon–Thu), a competitive salary with generous holiday entitlement (25 days plus 8 statutory days), and a range of benefits including discounts, free parking and cycle-to-work schemes.

Qualifications

• Aerospace airframe/structural assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with drilling, countersinking, riveting and sealants.
• Familiar with aerospace specifications and quality standards.
• Trade test will assess assembly skills in a follow-up interview.

Responsibilities

• Assemble core product components in line with SOPs and drawings.
• Ensure correct equipment is used and calibrated.
• Maintain a clean, safe and efficient work environment during the four-day week.
