Job description

As Aircraft Transition Project Manager, you will manage projects related to the transition of aircraft (End of Lease (EOL), Entry into Service (EIS), and major fleet program projects). You will ensure each project is delivered on time, to the agreed specifications, and within budget. Additionally, you will coordinate and facilitate routine Lessor/Owner physical aircraft inspections and manage the collection and supply of requested historical data as required.

Given the third-party facilities and airports TUI utilises, this role requires flexibility in working hours and occasional travel, which could be for extended durations. Currently, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our work arrangements include a proportion of remote work. On-site attendance at the TUI facility will be required, with frequency directed by your Line Manager.

ABOUT OUR OFFER

Personal benefits: Attractive remuneration, discretionary bonus schemes, generous travel benefits, extensive health & well-being support, and more.

Flexible working: We promote a healthy work-life balance with a dynamic working environment.

A career to shape: Access the TUI Learning Hub to develop and reach your ambitions.

Broaden your network: Engage in intercultural collaboration through global projects and teams.

Community: Participate in local charity and sustainability initiatives like the TUI Care Foundation.

ABOUT THE JOB
  • Coordinate aircraft transition projects and team efforts to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Serve as the primary contact between TUI and the Lessor/Owner during redelivery, managing meetings and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate within TUI and Part CAMO to ensure documentation and data meet standards and timelines for lease and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain a central electronic archive for all related information and queries.
  • Assist with logistics for security clearance and inspection attendance.
  • Manage projects related to EIS/EOL, fleet modifications, or other strategic activities.
  • Oversee all aspects of annual and mid-term audits with Lessors/Owners.
  • Promote continuous improvement, efficiency, and cost savings while enhancing the work environment.

  • 5+ years' experience in a Part CAMO technical role is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of aircraft transitioning processes and relevant tools is beneficial.
  • Degree in engineering or Part 66 Licence is preferred.
  • Experience working across diverse cultures and stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and decision-making skills.
  • Effective under pressure with excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to various locations and extended periods.
  • Self-motivated team player with initiative.
  • Valid full driving license and security clearance eligibility.

We embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion, supporting candidates with disabilities. If you require assistance, please inform us.
