Job summary

Certain Advantage in Bristol is hiring multiple Aircraft Technicians on a contract basis. You will work from engineering drawings, use power tools, and join a small, experienced team to deliver high-quality aircraft components.

Ideal candidates will have Aerospace full apprenticeship and City & Guilds levels; the position offers flexible working and overtime at enhanced rates.

Qualifications

• Aerospace or engineering full apprenticeship completed.
• Indenture/City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent completed.
• NVQ Level 2/3 or BTEC ONC in engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work from engineering instructions and Aircraft Drawings.
• Use power tools for drilling, shimming and sealing.

This role is on a contract basis and is office-based.

We're working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and separate Space and Defense division.

The Role

This role is for an Aircraft Technician -someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-orientated and driven to succeed. You'll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Work from engineering instructions and Aircraft Drawings
• Use of power tools for drilling, shimming, and sealing

The Individual

We're looking for people who can show:

• Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship
• Indenture and City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC or Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2, 3, Key Skills level 2 and City & Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC in a recognised engineering field
