Qualifications

• Completed Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally Aeronautical Engineering or military equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2675 in Aeronautical Engineering & Maintenance or NVQ Level 3 in related aeronautical discipline.
• Hands-on experience in engineering or aircraft maintenance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and rectify faults on aircraft systems, components and assemblies.
• Carry out depth maintenance, inspections, repairs and modification activities.
• Perform functional and system testing per approved procedures.
• Work to approved maintenance documentation and technical data.
• Ensure compliance with tooling, calibration and test equipment control procedures.
• Support maintenance delivery in line with operational and programme requirements.
• Escalate technical or maintenance issues where appropriate.
• Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplined aircraft maintenance team.

Requirements

• Previous practical engineering or aircraft maintenance experience

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Proactive and safety-focused approach to maintenance activities

Qualifications
