Job summary

MPI Limited in Gosport, Hampshire, requires Aircraft Structural Fitters (CAT A) to work in the Depth cell on site. Proposed start dates are Nov/Dec/Jan and the assignment is expected to run for at least 3 years.

Basic hours are 37 per week, with current workloads averaging around 50 hours. Responsibilities include modification installation, rectification on structure components, and structures/rivet/SMW work; rotary experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an Aircraft Apprenticeship.
• Hold valid Human Factors/EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety certificates if shortlisted.
• Basic security clearance and British passport required.

Responsibilities

Job description

MPI have a requirement for Aircraft Structural Fitters (CAT A) to work in the Depth cell on site in Gosport, Hampshire.

About the Role

Proposed start dates (subject to clearance) Nov/Dec/Jan expected to run for at least 3 years. The contract is ongoing as per customer requirements and is deemed out of scope of IR35. Basic hours 37 per week. Our Client has advised that the hours are, currently averaging around 50hrs per week.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Modification installation
• Rectification on structure components
• Structures/ Rivet/SMW
• Ideally Rotary experience

Qualifications

• Applicants must have served an Aircraft Apprenticeship and have copies of their papers.
• Applicants will require valid Human Factors/EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety certificates if selected for the role.
• Basic security clearance is also required for the role, which will also require you to hold British passport.

Required Skills

• Preferably have structural helicopter experience.
• Applicants who have recent structures experience but not worked on helicopters will be considered.

Preferred Skills

• Rotary experience.

Pay range and compensation package

• CAT A Rate of pay is £36.63 per hour LTD/£27.95 per hour PAYE.
• There may be opportunities for you to gain your CAT B stamp, once achieved your hourly rate will increase to £38.72 Ltd or £29.56 paye.
