Skyborne Airline Academy is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join our high performing, growing team. You will ensure our fleet of Diamond DA42 aircraft are maintained to a high standard, working in a well-equipped hangar with on-site facilities.

The role is based onsite at Gloucestershire Airport, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with weekend on-call duty. A standby payment of £70 is provided for each on-call weekend, and any call-outs are paid at time and a half.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in General Aviation.
• Understanding of airworthiness directives and service bulletins.
• High standard of communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in use and interpretation of aircraft maintenance management systems.
• Ability to concentrate and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Carry out scheduled maintenance on fleet aircraft.
• Identify defects, rectify and provide AOG support as required.
• Ensure Health & Safety and regulatory standards are met at all times.
• Support the operational flying programme to minimize aircraft downtime.
• Assist with UKCAA regulatory responsibilities as per Exposition.
• Produce accurate maintenance records for work carried out.
• Maintain hangar cleanliness and organisation for safe working environment.
• Assist with aircraft handling, stand placement, and detailing.
• Follow the Company’s Safety policy and Just Culture.
