Job summary

Skyborne Airline Academy seeks a Licenced Aircraft Engineer to join the Maintenance department at our Gloucestershire base. The role focuses on maintaining Diamond DA42 aircrafts to the highest airworthiness standards, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will perform scheduled maintenance, defect rectification, and support AOG duties, while ensuring accurate records and Hangar discipline.

Qualifications

• Hold UK CAA Part-66 Licence with B1.2 Group 3 or B3 with 2000 kg MTOM.
• Knowledge of DA42 maintenance and systems.
• Experience with scheduled maintenance and AOG support.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance on fleet aircraft.
• Conduct defect identification and rectification plus AOG support.
• Overseeing and certifying maintenance carried out by Fleet Support Technicians.
• Ensuring Health & Safety and regulatory standards are met.
• Produce accurate maintenance records and support hangar operations.
