  • Servicing, Repair, Integration, Test, and Modification of Merlin Avionic and associated Test Systems within a Workshop, Training Environment, and On Aircraft.
  • Working independently under consultative direction towards long-term goals.
  • Responsible for maintenance, repair, overhaul, testing, configuration, calibration, modifications, and compliance with technical instructions for avionic and test systems in workshops, training facilities, and on aircraft.
  • Performing engineering assignments in accordance with LM and Military Aviation Authority regulations.
  • Addressing complex technical problems with innovative solutions.
  • Supporting Closed Loop Analysis activities to improve product support and asset availability.
  • Acting as MAWS Occupational / Environment / Safety / Health Representative.
  • Attending safety meetings, managing risk assessments, COSHH, and SYPOL data sheets.
  • Managing procurement and storage of petrol, oils, lubricants, and inflammables.
  • Developing and delivering MAWS training courses.
  • Providing guidance and ongoing training within the workshop.
  • Liaising with support teams, engineers, and equipment manufacturers on technical issues.
  • Executing primary avionic engineering and secondary tasks supporting LM programs and organizational objectives.

Additional / Occasional Duties:

  • Providing deployed engineering support for Automated Test Stations, aircraft, and test systems, both in the UK and abroad.
  • Serving as SME for In Service Retrofit Upgrades and Aircraft Support Activities.
