Job summary

British Airways is seeking an Engineering Technical Instructor to design, deliver and maintain high‑quality training for licensed engineers, apprentices, and maintenance staff. You’ll ensure compliance with EASA/UK-CAA Part-147 and Part-145 standards, from classroom to hands‑on assessments, and collaborate with internal teams to improve training across locations.

Ideal candidates will have Part-66 licences (B1/B2) or equivalent, plus instructional qualifications, and a proven ability to coach

Qualifications

• Hold Part-66 licence or equivalent and training qualification.
• Experience delivering Part-147 training or similar.
• Strong regulatory awareness and meticulous documentation.
• Coaching and developing learners across experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality theoretical and practical training in line with Part-147 and Part-145 requirements.
• Facilitate engaging learning experiences and manage the classroom.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments and maintain training records.
• Assist in design and continuous improvement of training materials.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal quality procedures, and support audits.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet training needs across locations.
