We are currently supporting a leading aviation and defence organisation in the appointment of an experienced Technical Instructor to join their Technical Training Department in Teesside.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced aircraft engineer, technical trainer, or aviation professional looking to move into a role where you can use your technical expertise to develop the next generation of aviation engineering talent.
As a Technical Instructor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality technical and non-technical training programmes for engineers, apprentices and operational teams.
Working closely with the Examination Manager / Deputy Training Manager, you will ensure training is engaging, effective and fully aligned with relevant aviation regulations and company standards.
You will have the opportunity to deliver a varied programme of aircraft technical training, maintenance training, human factors, induction programmes and practical assessments, while contributing to the continued development of the organisation's engineering workforce.
The role also offers the opportunity for UK and international travel, including occasional deployments away from home for periods of approximately 1–5 weeks.
We’re interested in speaking with aviation professionals who have a strong technical background and either existing training experience or a genuine interest in moving into technical instruction.
This is more than a traditional training position. You will be using your aviation engineering knowledge to directly influence competence, safety and operational capability across a highly skilled workforce.
The successful candidate will join an organisation operating across the UK, US and NATO countries, supporting advanced aviation and defence training capabilities.
