Job summary

Line Up Aviation is recruiting an Aircraft Electrical Fitter for a contract role at RAF Valley, Wales. You will assist in maintenance and electrical/avionic work on the UK MFTS RW H135/H145 fleet, on a 40-hour week onsite.

The role requires an apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance, rotary experience, and up-to-date knowledge of electrical and avionic systems. BPSS clearance is required before starting, with full SC to follow.

• Rotary experience essential.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical and avionic systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.

Aircraft Electrical Fitter (BBBH18432) Holyhead, Wales

Salary: GBP28.16 - GBP28.16 per hour

Our client has an opportunity for an Aircraft Electrical Fitter to join them on a contract basis until the end of the year. The Aircraft Electrical Fitter is responsible for assisting in the movement, Line and Base Maintenance of the UK MFTS (RW) H135/H145 fleet.

Role: Aircraft Electrical Fitter

Location: RAF Valley - Wales. Fully onsite

Hours: 40 per week - shifts TBC

Hourly Rate: £28.16 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35

Clearance: BPSS required before starting, full SC to follow

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
• Accomplishment of Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated Shift Supervisor or Certifying Engineer.
• Work to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
• Completion of maintenance, including avionic and electrical systems in accordance with written instructions laid down by OEM.
• Conduct off-aircraft technical work in workshops as required.
• Also required to assist in day to day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or related discipline.
• Rotary experience
• Must have thorough knowledge of electrical and avionic systems.
• Knowledge of specialised test equipment relating to electrical and avionic systems.

• Flight/Airport Operations
