Job summary

MJM Industrial Ltd at Heathrow Airport is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a long-term maintenance team responsible for keeping critical airport infrastructure running reliably. You will service automated systems, perform fault-finding, reactive repairs and planned preventive maintenance, and work with colleagues to ensure optimal system performance.

A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification and a valid CSCS card are essential.

Mechanical Fitter – Heathrow Airport

£25.00 per hour – Ongoing.

Days, nights, weekends. Uplifts in place for nights and weekends.

The Company

MJM is currently recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters to work at Heathrow Airport on a long‑term basis. You will be part of a skilled team responsible for maintaining the mechanical integrity of Heathrow’s critical infrastructure – keeping systems running efficiently in one of the world’s busiest airports.

The Role

As a Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter based at Heathrow, you will maintain automated systems to ensure maximum productivity, efficiency, and equipment availability.

Your duties will include:

• Maintaining automated systems to a high operational standard
• Carrying out fault‑finding, reactive repairs and planned preventive maintenance
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth system performance

About You
