Job summary

Jet2.com Limited is seeking an Aircraft Configuration Controller to ensure accurate technical data for rotable aircraft components within the AMOS database, supporting airworthiness and fleet reliability.

You will review maintenance records, manage part requirements, and update configurations across aircraft in service and new entries. This role suits graduates or career entrants into aircraft engineering with strong accuracy and teamwork.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Senior Engineer - Aircraft Configuration, you'll help ensure all rotable aircraft components are accurately recorded and maintained within our Engineering database (AMOS), supporting the continued airworthiness of the Jet2.com fleet.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining accurate aircraft component records within AMOS
• Reviewing maintenance records and status reports to validate imported data
• Controlling and updating component configurations across existing, new, and entry-into-service aircraft
• Managing part requirements, including life limits, interchangeability, and alternative part data
• Supporting warranty claim administration
• Ensuring data accuracy and compliance across Engineering systems

We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with technical information.

You'll ideally have:

• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• The ability to accurately manage and record large volumes of data
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work to tight deadlines whilst building positive working relationships across the business
