Job summary

Jet2.com is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our Hangar-based team in Leeds. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, handle structural repairs, and ensure airworthiness and safety across our fleet.

The role requires a solid maintenance background on commercial aircraft, familiarity with AMOS, and a strong eye for safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. Jet2 offers a competitive package and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Solid background in aircraft maintenance on commercial aircraft.
• Experience with structural repairs and SRM or OEM repair schemes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks per approved data and HSE guidelines.
• Perform structural repairs in line with SRM or OEM repair schemes.
• Update the maintenance recording system with task details.
• Ensure tasks meet high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Collaborate with peers and supervisors as part of the Work as One Team ethos.
• Report operational or safety issues to line managers.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced Aircraft Mechanic with a proven background including structural repairs to join our dynamic team at Jet2.com, based at our state-of-the-art Hangar in Leeds. In this hands-on role, you'll be essential to keeping our fleet airworthy and safe, performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring our aircraft are ready for take-off.

What will you do in the role?

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with approved data, company procedures and Health and Safety guidelines
• Perform structural repairs in line with SRM or OEM approved repair schemes when required
• Update the maintenance recording system with details of all tasks performed
• Ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and workmanship
• Employ the company Work as One Team ethos by collaborating effectively with peers and supervisors
• Report any operational or safety related issues to line managers.

What do we need from you?

• A solid background in aircraft maintenance, particularly oncommercial aircraft.
• Ideally, experience as anaircraft mechanicin an airline orMRO(Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) environment, including assistance with sheet metal repairs.
• Familiarity with our aircraft types and the AMOS recording system would be a bonus.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• A strong airline operational needs paired with a positive approach towards targets
• A full working knowledge ofHealth & Safety requirements, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
