Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an Aircraft Cleaner/Ramp Agent at Birmingham Airport. Responsibilities include cleaning aircraft interiors, replenishing supplies, and ensuring a safe working environment. Responsibilities

  • Clean interior areas of aircraft cabin.
  • Replenish seat pockets with airline material.
  • Clean lavatories and replenish supplies.
  • Maintain a safe working environment while using equipment.
  • Sort out outbound passenger baggage efficiently.
  • Take active involvement in all Aircraft Turnaround processes.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of ground service equipment.
  • Attention to detail is a must.

Overview

Aircraft Cleaner / Ramp Agent(s) Required!

  • Pay Rate: £12.21ph
  • Hours: Rotating shifts between 04:30-23:00
  • Shifts: 4on/2off
  • Location: Birmingham Airport (B26 3QJ)
Responsibilities
  • Clean interior areas of aircraft cabin including removal of blankets, vacuuming carpets, wipe down equipment and surfaces.
  • Replenish seat pockets with airline material as per customer specification.
  • Clean lavatories, wash basins, surfaces, mirrors and replenish lavatory supplies.
  • Clean and sanitise galleys including mopping floors.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times, especially when using equipment and PPE.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Sort out outbound passenger baggage efficiently.
  • Take active involvement in all Aircraft Turnaround processes (including but not limited to aircraft arrival, baggage/cargo unload, baggage/cargo onload, cargo running, operations of ground services equipment) as instructed by Team Leader.
  • Safe and efficient operation of Ground Service Equipment.
  • Provide assistance and input to any baggage loading/unloading problems with accuracy and efficiency ensuring Team Leaders are advised.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required.
  • Cleaning experience is preferred.
  • You must have lived in the UK for at least the last 3 years.

  • Please note: Due to the nature of our business, we are regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), therefore it is compulsory for all applicants to provide or be willing to obtain the following:
  • Apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!)
  • Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us!)
  • Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc)
  • Provide a full 5-year address history
  • Attend an Aviation Security Course (Paid for by us!)
