Job summary

Airbus Helicopters UK Ltd seeks an Aircraft Avionics Fitter based at RAF Shawbury, Shropshire, to support the MFTS operation. You will assist Certifying Engineers, ensure regulatory compliance, and complete maintenance to a high standard for safe operations.

Role requires UK CAA knowledge, team collaboration, and the ability to work under direction. Security vetting applies; permanent position with diverse benefits and development schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Aviation engineering environment.
• Knowledge of UK CAA regulations.
• Good knowledge of avionics and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Certifying Engineers with the delivery of serviceable aircraft to meet the requirements of the daily flying programme.
• Ensuring compliance with Aviation regulations and Company procedures.
• Accomplishment of Maintenance activities as directed by Maintenance Supervisors.
• Complete maintenance to a high standard to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
• Assisting with aircraft maintenance, including avionics systems and electrical systems under the supervision of Certifying Engineers.
• Assist in day to day running of the Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.
