Airbus Helicopters UK Ltd is recruiting an Aircraft Mechanical Fitter to support RAF Shawbury's MFTS operations. The successful candidate will report to the Base Maintenance Manager and assist Certifying Engineers to ensure serviceable aircraft are delivered to the daily flying programme.

The role covers airframe, powerplant, mechanical and electrical systems under supervision, with emphasis on safety, compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Aviation engineering environment.
• Knowledge of UK CAA regulations.
• Good knowledge of engine and airframe systems.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.

Responsabilités

• Assisting Certifying Engineers with delivering serviceable aircraft to meet daily flying programme requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with Aviation regulations and company procedures.
• Carrying out maintenance to a high standard to ensure safe operation of aircraft.
• Assisting with aircraft maintenance across airframe, powerplant, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Assisting in day-to-day hangar operations including aircraft movement and housekeeping responsibilities.
