Job summary

Airbus Helicopters UK Ltd, based at RAF Shawbury, is seeking an Aircraft Avionics Fitter to support the MFTS operation. You will assist Certifying Engineers, maintain avionics and electrical systems, and help ensure daily flight readiness and regulatory compliance.

The role requires experience in aviation engineering, knowledge of UK CAA regulations, and a collaborative, self-motivated approach to meet the demands of the flying programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Aviation engineering environment.
• Knowledge of UK CAA regulations.
• Good knowledge of avionics and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the MFTS operation and assist Certifying Engineers with serviceable aircraft delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Aviation regulations and company procedures.
• Complete maintenance to a high standard for safe operation of the aircraft.
• Assist with aircraft maintenance including avionics and electrical systems under supervision.
• Assist in day-to-day hangar running, aircraft movement and housekeeping.
