Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited is seeking an Integrated Project Planner to support major programmes and growth projects within Secure Communications (SC) UK. This role involves creating and maintaining top-level and IPT schedules, tracking costs, milestones, risks, and changes while providing consolidated reporting to senior management.

You will work in a hybrid environment, with responsibilities spanning project administration, template creation, and coordination across teams.

Qualifications

Experience in project management with scheduling, EV, and risk management.
Knowledge of planning best practices, logic linking, WBS, and CP analysis.
Ability to plan to stage boundaries and contingency planning.
Familiar with PM methodologies and MS Project/Primavera.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain top and IPT schedules and deliver on time.
Analyze project costs versus forward load with resource tracking.
Track milestone payments.
Monitor risk and change control processes.
Provide consolidated reports to senior management monthly and quarterly.
Create standardized templates for schedules and reporting.
Provide project admin support to PM and team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Project Planner to support major programmes and growth projects delivering new strategic work and services within Secure Communications (SC) UK.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

Creation, maintenance and timely delivery of the top level and lower level schedules, and Integrated Project Team (IPT) schedules
Analyzing project costs versus project forward load in conjunction with resource tracking / management on behalf of the Project Manager
Payment Milestone tracking
Risk analysis tracking
Change Control (including waivers and deviations)
Support management consolidation, judgement, recommendations and the timely provision of all necessary management data and reporting information
Provide consolidated project reports on a monthly and quarterly basis to senior management including special focus reports as required
Create and maintain standardised templates for schedules and project reporting
Project administration support to the Project Manager and the project team

ABOUT YOU

Experienced in working within a Project Management environment, including scheduling, logic checking, Earned Value and Risk Management
Knowledge of planning best practice, e.g., logic linking/dependencies, resource scheduling, performing schedule health checks, Critical Path Analysis, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Planning to stage boundaries - contingency planning
Knowledge/understanding of Project Management methodologies
Proficient use of MS Project Professional & Primavera P6 Professional
