Highlands and Islands Airports Limited is recruiting for an Air Traffic Controller Support role (AFISO). After training you will provide flight information and meteorological data to pilots on approach and taxiing, and support air traffic control officers to keep aircraft moving safely.

Qualifications

• Valid medical declaration.
• AFISO licence and associated examinations.
• Meteorological observing course.
• Full and current driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Assist air traffic control officers to keep aircraft moving safely and in order in the air and on the ground.
• Provide aerodrome flight information services to aircraft after full training.
• Provide meteorological information to aircraft approaching and manoeuvring on the airfield.
• Work shifts and on-call duties, including out-of-hours call-outs.
• Complete ongoing training and competency checks.
