Job summary

City of Doncaster Council is seeking experienced Air Traffic Controllers to help relaunch Doncaster Sheffield Airport. You will join a new team responsible for aerodrome and radar services, shaping procedures and standards from day one in a modern control tower environment.

You will bring tower and approach radar experience, hold or demonstrate currency for ATCO ratings, and work collaboratively to ensure safe, efficient operations as the airport grows into a domestic and international hub.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tower and approach radar control or equivalent.
• Experience at a regional airport environment is advantageous.
• Current valid ATCO licence or demonstrated currency per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient air traffic control for arriving, departing and transiting aircraft.
• Coordinate with pilots, ground staff and other ATC units to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor radar and communications to maintain situational awareness.
• Respond promptly to changing conditions and emergencies with professionalism.
• Contribute to developing procedures and best practices for the new airport.
