Job summary

AB-Zero Air Conditioning Ltd, based in Pitsea, Essex, is expanding its commercial service division and seeks a Service Engineer to perform PPM visits and reactive calls across sites in London and the South East.

Starting hands-on, you will progress to lead a service team, plan the diary, and become the face of our maintenance work as the division grows. A clear route to Service Lead is provided, with a company van and pension.

Qualifications

• F-Gas Category 1 certification is required.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Solid experience servicing and fault-finding on commercial HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial AC systems, including cleaning, filter changes and F-Gas leak checks.
• Diagnose and repair faults on VRF, VRV and split systems.
• Respond to service call-outs and keep clients informed.
• Complete clear service reports and F-Gas records after every visit.
• Support commissioning and validation work when needed.
• In time, lead and schedule a team of service engineers.

AB-Zero is an established commercial air conditioning contractor We install, commission and maintain VRF and split systems for offices, schools, restaurants and commercial clients across London and the South East.We're F-Gas/REFCOM accredited and have a strong record on projects for clients

The opportunity

We're launching a dedicated service and maintenance division, and we're looking for the engineer who will grow with it.You'll start hands-on, carrying out PPM visits and reactive call-outs across our client sites.As the division grows, you'll step up to lead it: running a team of service engineers, planning the diary and becoming the face of our maintenance work.

This is a chance to build something from the ground up, not just fill a vacancy.

What we're looking for

• Solid experience servicing and fault-finding on commercial systems (Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin and Samsung experience a plus)
• Confidence dealing directly with clients and facilities managers
• Organised, reliable and proud of the quality of your work
• The ambition to step into a leadership role
