We are recruiting for a multi-skilled Air Conditioning / HVAC Engineer based in central Yorkshire, covering the maintenance of multiple commercial, retail, and estate contracts across the region (M62/M1). The role involves providing Mechanical Building Services through PPM and reactive works, as well as compliance and small works projects.

This is a permanent position offering a basic salary of circa 40k plus a competitive package, with half an hour each way travel, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with plenty of overtime (paid at x1.5 / x2.0), and optional on-call duty (TBC – 1 in 4). Benefits include 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays, a van with personal use, life cover, and company sick pay.

Air Conditioning / HVAC Engineer duties include:

• Completing PPM and reactive maintenance on AC systems, splits, condensers, VRV, VAV, etc.
• AHU and Fan Coil systems
• Mechanical plant room maintenance
• Chillers and cooling system pipework
• Compliance checks
• General maintenance works
• Small works installation
• Emergency repairs

Requirements:

• Qualified AC or HVAC Engineer (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or C&G 1 and 2)
• Experience in PPM and reactive maintenance
• Excellent client-facing skills
• Valid driving license
• Willingness to undertake fabric, plumbing, and mechanical tasks including AHU and fan coil works
• Experience with commercial facilities
• 2079 F-Gas certification
