Job summary

Office Owls Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to service, maintain, repair and install commercial air conditioning systems across customer sites in the North London area.

You will handle PPM and reactive call-outs, work independently or as part of a team, and ensure high standards of safety and customer service. The role involves on-site work across retail, care homes, hospitality, and commercial premises.

Qualifications

• F-Gas (2079) Category 1 requirement.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or time served.
• City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent.
• Experience with VRV/VRF systems, split systems, chillers and AHUs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• DBS check eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and repairing air conditioning equipment.
• Carry out reactive maintenance, servicing, PPM and installations.
• Work on split systems, and VRV/VRF systems.
• Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota.
• Advise customers on repair or replacement of equipment.
• Provide information for quotations including parts, labour and equipment.
• Meet targets for Health & Safety, quality, compliance and profitability.
• Act as a technical expert within the regional team.

Education

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or time served)

F-Gas (2079) Category 1

Full UK driving licence

Able to pass a DBS check
