Job summary
Project Start Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to service, maintain, repair, fault-find, and install commercial air conditioning systems across customer sites in West Yorkshire. You will handle PPMs and reactive call-outs, working on split, VRV/VRF, and AHU/chiller setups.
The role requires a full UK driving licence, F-Gas 2079 Cat 1, and City & Guilds/NVQ qualifications, with opportunities for career progression and ongoing training in a growing
Qualifications
- F-Gas 2079 Category 1 certification is required.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent.
- Experience with VRV/VRF, split systems, chillers and AHUs.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to pass a DBS check.
Responsibilities
- Fault finding and repairing air conditioning equipment.
- Reactive maintenance, servicing, PPM and installations.
- Work on split systems, VRV/VRF systems, chillers and AHUs.
- Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota.
- Provide quotes with parts, labour and equipment.
- Meet Health & Safety, quality, compliance and profitability targets.
- Act as a technical expert within the regional team.
